Four issues in and I can say Spurrier's and Goonface's pioneering mode of story telling has spawned one of most inovative books in some time. There are no cosmic cubes or unending crisis required. What we have here a pair of merry misfits and their tale of social and natural survival.
As I put down issue #4 of Godshaper, my since of fulfilment is bitter sweet. There are only two more issues of Godshaper scheduled to be published. As much as I want to continue following Ennay and Bud around, I really would like to see Spurrier and Goonface conitnue to work their inky schetchy madness. We possibly have one of the best books in some time and definatly one of the greatest comic book teams in recent years.
